Terms of Service

These terms apply to Lumabot, the Discord bot, and to the website at lumabot.eu, the Lumabot API and the Premium and Custom plans (together, the "Service"). By adding Lumabot to a server, using its commands or using the website, you agree to them.

"We" means the Lumabot team. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Service.

1.The Service

Lumabot is an all-in-one Discord bot: casino, tickets, temporary voice channels, giveaways, statistics, XP, moderation, anti-raid, roles, invites, music, backups and more. The features and their commands are described in the documentation on this website.

Lumabot is free to use. Premium and Custom are paid plans that raise the limits and unlock extra features.

2.Who can use it

  • You must follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, including Discord's minimum age.
  • To add Lumabot to a server you need the right to manage that server. You are responsible for how the bot is configured there.
  • Server owners and administrators are responsible for telling their members which features are enabled (for example statistics, XP, logs or backups) and for having the right to use them in their community.

3.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Lumabot for anything illegal, or to harass, threaten, scam or harm others;
  • attack, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the Service, or try to access data that is not yours;
  • abuse a bug or loophole to gain an advantage (for example to duplicate casino chips). Please report bugs to us instead;
  • use the NSFW commands anywhere other than age-restricted channels, or in a way that breaks Discord's rules;
  • use several accounts or automation to get around the limits of a plan or to cheat in the games.

4.Casino and virtual currency

Chips are a virtual currency that only exists inside Lumabot for entertainment. They have no monetary value and cannot be bought with money, sold, or exchanged for money or goods. The casino games are not real gambling.

Server administrators can change prices, win chances, payouts and events on their server. We may correct, remove or reset balances when we fix a bug, detect cheating or change how the economy works.

5.Premium and Custom plans

  • Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Premium applies to a server that you choose, and you can move it to another server from /premium purchases. Premium x3 gives three Premium servers in one purchase.
  • A Custom bot is a separate copy of Lumabot that runs with your own bot token, name, avatar and settings. You are responsible for your bot token, for your community and for following Discord's rules with that bot.
  • The price, billing period and what is included are shown at checkout. Limits and features may evolve over time.
  • For cancellation, billing problems or refund requests, contact us in the support server. Refund requests are handled case by case.

6.Your content and your data

You keep ownership of what you post and configure. You give us the permission to process it only as needed to run the features you use. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

7.Suspension and ending

You can stop using Lumabot at any time by removing it from your server. We can limit, suspend or block a user or a server that breaks these terms or Discord's rules, or that puts the Service or other people at risk. For a Custom bot we may also stop the instance if it is used to break these terms.

8.Availability and changes

We do our best to keep Lumabot online, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error free or that data will never be lost. We may update, limit or remove features, run maintenance and release beta features at any time. Please keep your own copies of anything important, since backups made with Lumabot are a convenience and not a guarantee.

9.Third-party services

Lumabot relies on Discord, on Stripe for payments and on music providers such as Deezer, Apple Music and SoundCloud. Their own terms apply to you, and their availability is outside our control.

10.Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of virtual items or loss of profit arising from the use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have by law and that cannot be limited.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and important changes will be announced in the support server. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
